Music
In music we provide our children with a musical understanding underpinned by good knowledge and understanding of music and a developing technical expertise. We teach pupils to have a very good awareness and appreciation of different musical traditions and genres. We aim to develop in our pupils, an excellent understanding of how the historical, social and cultural origins of music contribute to the diversity of musical styles. Through our curriculum, we teach children to use musical terminology effectively, accurately and appropriately and we strive to foster a passion for a range of musical activities.
